For the next 10 years
Our company took over the industrial engine business from Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and became independent as Global Component Technologies Corporation (GCT) in 2013, with last year marking our 10th anniversary. In the past decade we have been, in a sense, in the early stages of corporate creation. The unique development and production technologies we have developed and the expertise we have accumulated over more than half a century as a Japanese engine manufacturer have been utilized to meet the expectations of our customers. As a result, our GCT engines are being adopted by an ever increasing number of customers. Ten years have passed since our foundation, and we are now recognized as the company with the largest market share of gasoline /LPG engines for forklifts.
In 2016, we established the Konosu Plant, which performs casting, machining, and assembly, in order to meet our customers’ demands for increased production. We have been improving the production system year by year, and, as a manufacturer, we have been working hard to further improve quality, which is the “life” of our products, and to ensure stable production.
Furthermore, in response to the increasingly stringent environmental requirements year by year, we have been providing eco-friendly products that everyone can use with confidence, driven by the belief that engines must be clean. At the same time, we are continuing to work towards the creation of a carbon neutral society.
Starting from FY 2024, we will embark on a new medium-term management plan, aiming to further expand our business. At GCT, based on the corporate philosophy that safety and compliance should be given the highest priority, we continue to pursue cutting-edge technology and world-class quality that encourages people to choose our products. In addition, we respect employees’ individuality, creativity, and willingness to take on new challenges and strive to create a workplace/environment in which employees feel their job is rewarding.
For the next 10 years, we will continue to take on new challenges, aiming to provide products and services that will give customers an even higher level of satisfaction.
